Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: March 5, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Lucidia Solutions, LLC ("Lucidia," "we," "our," or "us"), the operator of Room Genie. By accessing or using our website, applications, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

By clicking "I agree" or a similar checkbox, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

1. Description of Services

Room Genie is a notification-only monitoring service. The Services allow you to create alerts that monitor Walt Disney World resort hotel room availability and pricing. When your specified conditions are met, we attempt to notify you via email and/or SMS.

Room Genie does not book, reserve, hold, or guarantee rooms on your behalf. We do not act as a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform. When you receive a notification, you are solely responsible for completing any reservation directly with the resort or through Disney's own booking systems. Room availability shown in a notification may no longer be available by the time you act on it.

Room Genie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. "Walt Disney World," "Disney," and all related resort names, logos, and trademarks are the property of The Walt Disney Company. Our use of these names is solely for the purpose of identifying the resorts being monitored.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to create an account and use the Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We verify your age at registration and reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, including your legal name, valid email address, and date of birth.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person.
  • You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account, whether or not you authorized them.
  • You must promptly notify us at support@lucidia.travel if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You agree to keep your account information current, including your email address and, if applicable, phone number.

4. License to Use the Services

Subject to these Terms, Lucidia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services solely for your personal or internal business use (if you are a travel professional) and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on any part of the Services.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services.
  • Use the Services to develop a competing product or service.
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access the Services, except through our intended user interfaces.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security or access-control features of the Services.
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

5. Subscriptions, Credits & Payments

a. Plans & Pricing

We offer multiple tiers of access to the Services:

  • Single Alert Credit — a one-time purchase that provides one (1) monitoring alert. Alert credits expire one (1) year from the date of purchase. Expired credits are forfeited and non-refundable.
  • Subscription Plans — recurring monthly subscriptions that provide unlimited alert creation and, depending on the tier, access to premium features such as the Explore Rates tool. Subscription details and pricing are displayed on our Plans page.

b. Billing & Authorization

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By purchasing a subscription or credit, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method. For subscriptions, you authorize automatic recurring charges at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.

c. No Refunds

All fees are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation: partial months of service, unused alert credits, unused subscription time, alerts that did not result in a notification, and alerts where a notification was sent but you were unable to secure a reservation. You acknowledge that Room Genie is a monitoring and notification service and that notification delivery or receipt does not guarantee the availability of any hotel room.

d. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to subscription features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No prorated refunds are provided.

e. Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to be charged at your current plan rate until the downgrade takes effect.

f. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. For active subscribers, price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following at least thirty (30) days' notice. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

g. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, your subscription may be placed in a "past due" status. We may attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be canceled and your access to subscription features may be suspended. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method is current and valid.

6. Monitoring, Notifications & Limitations

This section is critical. Please read it carefully.

a. Best-Effort Monitoring

Room Genie monitors Walt Disney World resort availability and pricing on a periodic, polling basis. We do not provide real-time monitoring. There is an inherent delay between when a room becomes available (or a price changes) and when our system detects and reports that change. Rooms may become available and be booked by other guests before our system detects the availability. We make no guarantee that every availability event or price change will be captured.

b. Notification Delivery — Not Guaranteed

We make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver notifications via email and/or SMS when your alert conditions are met. However, we do not and cannot guarantee that notifications will be delivered, delivered on time, or received by you. Notification delivery depends on third-party services (email providers, mobile carriers) and factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Email spam filters, junk folders, or ISP-level blocking
  • Mobile carrier message filtering, delays, or outages
  • Network congestion, server outages, or third-party service disruptions
  • Incorrect or outdated contact information in your account
  • Your device being powered off, out of range, or otherwise unable to receive messages

You are solely responsible for monitoring your email inbox, SMS messages, and alert dashboard. We strongly recommend checking the Services directly if you are expecting time-sensitive availability or pricing information. Failure to receive a notification does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

c. Data Accuracy — Not Guaranteed

All resort availability, room pricing, package pricing, and related information displayed through the Services is provided for general informational purposes only. We obtain this information from publicly accessible sources. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any pricing or availability data. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time by the resort operator without notice to us or you.

Any reliance you place on pricing or availability information provided through the Services is strictly at your own risk. You should always verify pricing and availability directly with the resort before making any travel decisions or financial commitments.

d. One-Time Alerts

Alerts funded by single-use credits are automatically deactivated after a notification is successfully sent. If a notification delivery fails, the alert remains active and will be retried on subsequent monitoring cycles, subject to a cooldown period. One-time alerts cannot be reactivated after they have fired.

e. Service Interruptions

The monitoring and notification capabilities of the Services may be temporarily or permanently impaired by factors including, but not limited to: changes to resort websites or systems, network infrastructure issues, third-party service outages, or maintenance activities. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the monitoring service and are not liable for any missed notifications or monitoring gaps resulting from such interruptions.

7. Explore Rates & Premium Features

Certain features of the Services, including the Explore Rates pricing tool, are available only to users with qualifying subscription plans. Access to premium features is determined by your current active subscription and may change if you downgrade, cancel, or if your subscription lapses due to payment failure.

Pricing data displayed through premium features is subject to the same accuracy disclaimers set forth in Section 6(c) above.

8. Travel Professional Designation

You may optionally designate yourself as a travel professional during registration or in your account settings. This designation customizes certain aspects of the notification experience (such as email formatting) but does not confer any additional service levels, priority monitoring, dedicated support, or enhanced reliability guarantees. All users, regardless of designation, are subject to the same Terms and service limitations.

9. SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS alert notifications, you consent to receive automated text messages from Room Genie at the phone number you provide and verify. By opting in, you understand and agree that:

  • Messages are sent solely to deliver alert notifications you have configured. We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS.
  • Message frequency depends on the number and type of alerts you create.
  • Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
  • You may opt out at any time by removing your phone number in your account notification settings. Opt-out takes effect immediately.
  • SMS delivery is subject to the limitations described in Section 6(b) and is not guaranteed.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, trademarks, logos, and other materials provided through the Services are owned by or licensed to Lucidia Solutions, LLC and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you input into the Services (such as alert names and notes). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Services to you.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in any manner that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious software, spam, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity, performance, or security of the Services or any underlying systems.
  • Access or attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm any person or entity.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services or any data obtained through them without our express written permission.
  • Circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or access controls implemented by the Services.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

a. By You

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@lucidia.travel. Upon deletion, all of your data — including alerts, monitoring history, notification records, and profile information — will be permanently and irrevocably deleted. Active subscriptions should be canceled before account deletion to avoid continued billing. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

b. By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, abuse of the Services, or non-payment. Upon termination by us, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We are not obligated to provide a refund of any fees paid.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUCIDIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION THAT:

  • THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
  • THE MONITORING DATA, PRICING, OR AVAILABILITY INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT;
  • NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY OR IN A TIMELY MANNER;
  • ANY ROOM, RATE, OR RESERVATION SHOWN AS AVAILABLE WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO BOOK;
  • THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS; OR
  • DEFECTS IN THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED.

You acknowledge that the Services depend on third-party infrastructure and data sources that are outside our control, and that interruptions or inaccuracies may occur without warning. Your use of the Services and reliance on any information provided through them is entirely at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LUCIDIA SOLUTIONS, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS;
  • LOSS OF DATA OR GOODWILL;
  • COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES;
  • PERSONAL INJURY OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS;
  • FAILURE TO RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION OR ALERT;
  • INABILITY TO SECURE A HOTEL RESERVATION;
  • INACCURATE PRICING OR AVAILABILITY INFORMATION;
  • MISSED TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES OR INCREASED TRAVEL COSTS;

WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF LUCIDIA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO LUCIDIA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00).

The limitations in this section apply regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if a limited remedy set forth herein fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lucidia Solutions, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Services;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Any content or information you submit through the Services; or
  • Any travel decisions, bookings, or financial commitments you make based on information obtained through the Services.

16. Service Availability, Modification & Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. We may add, change, or remove features, impose new usage limits, or alter the scope of the Services.

If we permanently discontinue the Services, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice via the email address associated with your account. Active subscriptions will not be renewed after the discontinuation date. No refunds will be issued for amounts already paid, except as required by applicable law.

We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

17. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services integrate with and rely upon third-party services, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), and Supabase (authentication and data storage). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including Walt Disney World resort pages. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked third-party website.

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

a. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

b. Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Montgomery County, Maryland, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

c. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Lucidia.

d. Injunctive Relief

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights or confidential information.

19. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lucidia regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
  • Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service outages, or changes to resort operator websites or systems.
  • Notices. We may provide notices to you via email at the address associated with your account, through the Services, or by posting on our website. You are responsible for keeping your email address current.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email or through a prominent notice within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 5, 2026

Lucidia Solutions, LLC ("Lucidia," "we," "our," or "us") operates Room Genie, a software-as-a-service platform that monitors Walt Disney World resort hotel room availability and pricing (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access or use our website, applications, and Services.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth (used solely for age verification; you must be 18 or older)
  • Password (stored in hashed form; we never store or have access to your plaintext password)
  • Whether you are a travel professional (optional self-designation)

b. Alert and Travel Preference Data

When you create monitoring alerts, we collect:

  • Selected Walt Disney World resorts and room types
  • Check-in and check-out dates
  • Party composition (number of adults, number of children, children's ages)
  • Alert type preferences (availability monitoring, price-drop monitoring)
  • Package preferences (ticket type, dining plan, add-ons)
  • Price thresholds and notification preferences
  • Optional notes you add to alerts

c. Notification Contact Information

To deliver alerts, we may collect:

  • Email address (required for email notifications)
  • Phone number (optional; required only if you opt in to SMS notifications)
  • Your explicit consent to receive SMS messages, if applicable

d. Payment and Billing Information

We use Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor. When you purchase a subscription or credit, Stripe collects your payment method details (e.g., credit card number, billing address) directly. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. We receive and store:

  • Your Stripe customer identifier
  • Subscription status, plan type, and billing period dates
  • Credit purchase and expiration records
  • Invoice and transaction metadata

e. Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version (user-agent string)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed, access times, and referring URLs
  • Authentication session data (stored in cookies necessary for the Services to function)

f. Consent Records

When you accept our Terms & Conditions or this Privacy Policy, we create an immutable audit record that includes your IP address, user-agent string, the exact consent text you agreed to, and a timestamp. These records are maintained for legal compliance and cannot be modified or deleted.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and operate the Services — including monitoring Walt Disney World resort availability and pricing on your behalf, evaluating your alert conditions, and delivering notifications when conditions are met.
  • Process payments — managing subscriptions, credits, and billing through our payment processor.
  • Send transactional communications — alert notifications, account confirmations, password resets, security alerts, and billing-related messages.
  • Maintain and improve the Services — analyzing usage patterns, diagnosing technical issues, and developing new features.
  • Enforce our agreements — including our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.
  • Comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests and protecting our legal rights.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Automated Processing

The Services use automated systems to periodically check Walt Disney World resort availability and pricing on your behalf. When your alert conditions are met (e.g., a room becomes available or drops below your price threshold), the system automatically sends you a notification via your chosen method (email and/or SMS). One-time alerts are automatically deactivated after a successful notification is sent.

No automated decisions are made that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on you. You retain full control over creating, modifying, and deleting your alerts at any time.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

a. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate the Services. These providers process your information only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions:

  • Supabase, Inc. — database hosting and user authentication
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management
  • Twilio, Inc. — SMS message delivery (only if you opt in to SMS notifications)
  • Twilio SendGrid — email delivery
  • Vercel, Inc. — application hosting and content delivery
  • Axiom, Inc. — application monitoring and error tracking (event data only; no full personal data)

b. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a lawful request.

c. Business Transfers

If Lucidia Solutions, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. SMS Communications & TCPA Consent

If you choose to receive SMS alert notifications, you must provide and verify your phone number through a one-time verification code and provide explicit consent to receive text messages from us.

  • SMS messages are sent solely to deliver the alert notifications you configure. We do not send marketing messages via SMS.
  • Message frequency depends on the number and frequency of alerts you create.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • You may revoke SMS consent at any time by removing your phone number in your account settings. Removal takes effect immediately.
  • We will never share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Services, specifically for authentication and session management. These cookies allow you to remain signed in and are required for the Services to function.

We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors interact with our marketing website. GA4 sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track session information. This data helps us understand which pages and features are most useful, measure the effectiveness of our content, and improve the overall experience. GA4 data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Google's use of analytics data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, or cross-site profiling. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

You may configure your browser to reject cookies, but doing so will prevent you from using the Services, as authentication requires session cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

  • Account data — retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data and all associated records (alerts, check results, notifications) are permanently deleted.
  • Alert credits — one-time alert credits expire one (1) year from the date of purchase.
  • Consent records — retained indefinitely as required for legal compliance and audit purposes, even after account deletion.
  • Payment records — retained as required by applicable tax and financial reporting laws (typically up to seven years).
  • Aggregated or de-identified data — may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement, provided it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Encryption of data at rest in our database
  • Row-level security policies that restrict data access to authorized users
  • Hashed password storage (we never store plaintext passwords)
  • Rate limiting on authentication and sensitive endpoints
  • Separate service-role credentials for administrative database operations

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you use the Services at your own risk.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

All Users

  • Access and update — you can view and edit your profile information, email, phone number, and notification preferences in your account settings at any time.
  • Delete your account — you may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Withdraw SMS consent — remove your phone number from your account settings to immediately stop SMS notifications.
  • Manage alerts — create, edit, pause, or delete your monitoring alerts at any time.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to know — you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete — you may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct — you may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so this right does not apply.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@lucidia.travel. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights including:

  • Right of access — obtain a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data under certain circumstances.
  • Right to restrict processing — request limitation of processing under certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Our legal bases for processing are: (a) performance of a contract (providing the Services you signed up for), (b) legitimate interests (improving and securing the Services), and (c) consent (SMS notifications). You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. International Data Transfers

The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses or your explicit consent.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

As part of the travel planning features, you may provide the ages of children in your travel party when configuring alerts. This information is used solely to check room occupancy and pricing accuracy and is not used for any other purpose.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@lucidia.travel, and we will promptly delete it.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Walt Disney World resort pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.

Room Genie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

13. Service Discontinuation

If we permanently discontinue the Services, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice via the email address associated with your account. During this notice period, you may export or save any information you wish to retain. After the discontinuation date, all user data will be permanently deleted, except as required by law (e.g., financial records, consent logs).

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email or through a prominent notice within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.

15. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us:

Lucidia Solutions, LLC
Email: support@lucidia.travel

We will respond to all privacy-related inquiries within thirty (30) days, or within the time required by applicable law, whichever is shorter.
